From specifics to general reasons, here are some examples:
1. Weapon power doesn’t make sense. Some weapons that you think should be awesome actually do little damage. Duct-tape a spear to a drill, though, and you have a combo weapon that makes it so easy to defeat bosses that it nearly ruins the game experience completely.
2. The Snowflake glitch is infuriating. There’s a boss battle where you can choose to either tame or kill Snowflake the tiger. Taming him has so many benefits that it’s worth the time. But sometimes, you tame him and there’s no cut scene. He just stands there, frozen, like a dumb ass. So you’ve gone through all this time for NOTHING, and it messes up at least two achievements that you might have been trying to earn.
3. The controls aren’t intuitive. They’re set up like they were in the first Dead Rising and eventually you get the hang of them. That doesn’t mean they’re right. If you play any other game out there, it’s going to be annoying to switch between it and DR2, because everything is ass backward.
